Federated Chef

For a large DevOps organization in Stockholm, Linefeed implemented a system for operating team-owned Chef servers. Key was the teams freedom and flexibility in managing their resources, while not being burdened by operating their own Chef server. Naturally, the Chef servers were in turn managed by a top level Chef server, to which code was deployed in a CD manner with Jenkins.
